Week 3 tasks:
- From now till next week, the group will be continuing to work on the BIM manual (Adam)
- finalize the design brief (Jake)
- demolish all relevant walls with the Architectural Revit model (Jack)
- Post Ben's site Analysis for the final presentation. (Ben)
Collaboration Reflection:
So far the group work has been travelling slowly as we are all still getting our bearing with what exactly the project will entail for us to do. We understand that we are to act as different professions, but as most of us have never used Revit structure or MEP etc the task seems a bit daunting and therefore it is hard to "get the ball rolling". With a clear idea of a finalized design brief this understanding should follow in greater detail.
As seen above the task have been divided in accordance to each group members "profession", however obviously with the initial sketch design of "our outcome" it was important that we all met and worked on each floor as one. Hopefully this will also give us a set of plans to work off as we break into our discipline specific Revit modelling.
It will remain important for us as a team to meet each week outside of class and keep track of how each team member is travelling with their individual work.
