Week 2 - Project MCN Site Model

Project Task 3 - Site model

The first step involved in Project MCN was the creation of a Site model. For this the group decided that it would be more efficient to combine the Site and Landscape model into one combined file. 

Step 1
To create the site, a scaled birds eye view of the context from Google maps is used as a "trace".

Step 2
The sites contours and footpaths can then be modeled.

Step 3
For the individual surrounding buildings a series of conceptual masses were created within the Revit file.

Step 4
The assigning of appropriate materials

Step 5 
From here, we then linked the initial architectural model to the surrounding context.

Next week tasks:
With a site/landscape model now created, Ben will continue and develop this model further in collaboration with Adam's linked architectural model and the groups conceptual, architectural proposal.
