Week 1 - Central File Location

As a group we decided on using usb mode of transfer for this project. This will allow us the ability to take work home with us and continue developing outside of class. At the start of each week we will have to make a new dated file on each of our usb's and update accordingly. 

Advantages of USB transfer:

1.Higher Speed while being reliable. 

2.Multiple Devices

•  A USB port can run many devices at once

3.Self-Powered

• USB provides power to the peripheral you connect, so there is no need for an external mains PSU for most products. 

4. Plug & Play

• USB devices reconfigure themselves; your PC will automatically detect the new device and install the software for it. 

5.Hot-Swappable

• USB devices can also be hot-swapped - i.e. connected or removed while the PC is switched on. 

It will be interesting to see if this process works. We may run into issues where there are too many files created and each person loses track to which file relates to which. This may also cause some difficulties with linking.
